이번에 우리아이가 영어 공부를 열심히 하면서 자신감이 많이 생겼나봐요~
그래서 이번에 여러 경시대회 알아보고 있는데요~
주변 아이 친구네 엄마랑~함께 알아보게 된 UC버클리 영어경시대회 가보려구요.
거기서 캠프도 하던데...이미 만원이라 등록 불가. OTL 에휴~
그래도 영어경시대회는 한번 나가보려고 준비 중인데요~
도데체 어디를 어떻게 건드려야 할 지 모르겠네요.
아래는 대회 문제라던데.....아~~정말 고민이 이만저만이 아녜요~
1. You have just spent an entire month camping in a forest far away from the city, and you cannot wait to tell your aunt (who has never been to the forest) all about it! Describe your camping experience. What were the sounds you heard? What were the smells in the air? What did the forest look like? What animals did you see? How did you prepare your food? What was your campsite like?
2. The world is running out of color! Each country gets to pick ONE color to represent itself, and YOU have been chosen to make the decision for all of Korea. Write a letter to the President explaining what color best suits Korea and why. Give detailed examples of things that would look better in the color that you chose, and why no other color would look as good. Be as persuasive as possible in your answer.
이건 보니 고학년 용 문제구요~
저학년 문제랑, 외국학교 다녔던 학생들 대상 문제들은 각각 따로들 있나봐요~
이건 뭐,,,,엄마표 영어의 한계를 여실히 드러나는 순간입니다. ㅋㅋ
그래도 아이는 재미있을 것 같다고 열심히네요~
다른분들은 특히 영어 경시대회는 어떻게들 준비하시나요...

문제는 아마도 아이가 영어를 잘한다면....
캠핑에서 얻을수있는 지식이 씌여있네요....
아마 이정도면 영어경시대회에 출전 가능할것 같아요....
